Elena is a nutrition consultant and private chef based in New York City. She is Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition ®, the highest level of professional recognition in the holistic nutrition industry and which has its foundation in the most current research and nutrition science. She obtained her degree in holistic nutrition at Bauman College (Berkeley, California).
Elena's practice focuses on providing a natural and personalized approach to wellness using food and lifestyle so you can feel energized, healthy and happy in your own skin. She is also a trained Intuitive Eating Instructor and will provide you with the necessary tools and strategies to overcome emotional eating and restore a healthy relationship with food. Trained in the French Culinary School in Manhattan, and with years of experience in 1 and 2 Michelin Star restaurants, Elena is also a private chef specialized in Mediterranean cuisine with a strong focus on gourmet healthy alternatives. Before following her heart and pursuing a career in nutrition and hospitality, Elena received a double undergraduate degree in Law and Business Administration and worked over 5 years in Investment Banking in New York City.
Born and raised in Madrid, Spain, she currently lives in Harlem with her husband and her two kids.
